Mr. AJ and I LOVE DIY projects . Being back from a long vacation we wanted to stay home and have fun during the fourth of July weekend . We wanted to have something in the foyer to sit and still not make it look like a formal seating arrangement . We even did not want to put chairs there . A bench was a perfect solution for that . The material ( wood ) for this bench was under $30 . We decided to paint it instead of staining and added baskets that look neutral . The bench is made with 2x4s and is very sturdy .
